This fitness journey has been challenging, and with challenges comes opportunity to overcome or be overtaken. I fight to overcome and welcome others to join me on this journey. I am a 3-career seasoned professional whose love of fitness helped to create community and connection for women that want to transform their physical and emotional well-being through fun, energetic, and rhythmic fitness options.
Building community through movement brings joy, a sense of belonging, a place of serenity, and an opportunity to find freedom. Fitness does not have to be hard. Fitness does not have to be a drudgery. Fitness is a form of self-care. I have always said "Find what you like and you will stick with it". I love to dance. I love activities that are rhythmic. I love music. As a migraine sufferer, I realized that exercise had to be a regular part of my life. The stresses of family life, a demanding career, and taking care of extended family, were impacting me and I had to find a healthy way to cope. Combining my hobbies, my interests, and my desire to help and encourage others allowed me to find community with those who also struggled in their health and wellness journey. That support system, along with formats that were naturally fun for me to participate in, allowed me to create a lasting path for my mental and physical health to be a priority and stay committed to my goals.
